General+Production: Sheets were seen by Aeneas Sylvius Piccolomini (Pius II) at Frankfurt am Main some time before his letter of 12 Mar. 1455, probably in October 1454 (E. Meuthen in Gb Jb 1982, pp.108-18). Pius's letter is printed in the edition of Ther Hoernen about 1480 (Voull(K) 967), sig. q1 verso (M.C. Davies in The Library, 18(1996) 193-201, with plate).
